Festival Style Typhoon Yakisoba with Hakubaku Ramen Recipe
A prefecture festival we visited had a mix of pork and squid – in a crispy swirl of noodles. They call it- Typhoon Yakisoba. The key points to make here are the ingredients get mixed up from land and sea. Ramen noodles- are fried in the pan to make them crispy. The trick with this dish is to prep the ingredients seperately from the noodles. Then cook the noodles in a seperate pan or wok. Festival Style Typhoon Yakisoba mixes squid in with the pork. Its very tasty , but, if squid is not your favorite, you can always substitute tofu or chicken thigh.
