Not Stiff. Not Frozen. Just Perfectly Soft Udon.

Image

Most udon noodles fall into two categories: dried until hard, or fresh and refrigerated. Hakubaku Gourmet Udon elevates the noodle to be more authentic like you were in Japan! We use a low level moisture-retaining noodle-making process developed in-house just for this product for that perfect texture.

Our udon stays soft and flexible right inside the package — yet remains completely shelf-stable.

No preservatives. No shortcuts. Just pure Japanese craftsmanship that keeps the noodle’s integrity intact until it reaches your bowl.

Authentic Taste Meets Everyday Convenience

Soft & Shelf-Stable

A unique moisture-controlled process keeps the noodles soft before cooking, so they cook evenly and stay chewy — without requiring refrigeration.

Made in Japan

Crafted using traditional Japanese noodle-making methods for an honest, restaurant-quality result you can taste in every bite.

Simple Ingredients

Just wheat flour, water, starch, salt, and corn starch. No preservatives. No fillers. Just real noodles made the Japanese way.

Ready in Minutes

From packet to bowl in 10 minutes. Boil, rinse, and serve — or toss into stir-fries, curries, or cold dipping dishes.

Perfect Udon in 10 Minutes

Hakubaku Gourmet Udon is designed to be foolproof — whether you prefer a hot bowl of comforting broth or a refreshing chilled noodle. Follow these simple steps for perfect texture every time.

1. Bring 3 quarts of water to a rolling boil.
2. Add one 260g pack of noodles and gently stir.
3. Once the water returns to a boil, reduce heat to a gentle simmer.
4. Cook for 10 minutes for ideal texture.
5. Drain and rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove surface starch.
6. Serve hot, cold, or stir-fried.

Endless Ways to Enjoy Gourmet Udon

From cozy winter bowls to refreshing summer dishes, Gourmet Udon adapts to any flavor you crave. Here are some easy recipes you can make anytime.

Classic Kake Udon

A warm dashi broth with soy and mirin brings out the noodle’s smooth, clean flavor. Top with scallions, nori, and kamaboko for a truly comforting bowl.

Curry Udon

A rich Japanese curry thinned with broth creates a velvety sauce that clings perfectly to the noodles. Hearty, cozy, and deeply satisfying.

Yaki Udon (Stir-Fried Udon)

Toss noodles in a hot pan with sesame oil, vegetables, and soy sauce for a fast, flavorful meal. Add shrimp or chicken for extra protein.

Zaru Udon (Cold Dipping Udon)

Chill cooked noodles and serve with a cold soy-mirin-dashi dipping sauce. Light, refreshing, and perfect for hot days
